Dear Mr Warner : My cousin Veronica Robinson is listed on yr site as having enquired re the Hunt family. This was on my behalf but she has been unable to obtain details of his birth.His father was William, a weaver, and we presume that he moved to London after the collapse of that industry.

He married Mary Ann Franklin in London 24.09.1848, they had six children and he died there aged 53 on 17.06.1907. The complete family is listed in a bible in my possession and I am keen to trace Amos and William Hunt in working back through this branch of my tree. Perhaps you can advise me what records exist, if any, regarding the textile trade. I shall approach Revd.Richards soon about Parish records.

NB. A second name is displayed on yr site with an enquiry about a Family Hunt and perhaps I could exchange info with that person. Please pass on my e-address and the above message. Thank you in advance for any pointers you can give. Sincerely,
