My Great x 3 Grandfather Edward Lane and Mary Mary Gawn married at Bisley 1816. They ran The White Hart Inn (now Hartwell Cottage) between 1848 and sometime between 1861 and 1871, James Gawn ran The White Hart Inn in 1837, he was also a Baker. Catherine Gawn ran The White Hart Inn in 1841 up to 1848 when she died. I believe Catherine was Mary Maria and James Gawn's mother, but have no evidence to this?
I am trying to find out more about the GAWN family in Bisle can anyone help please.
