I am wondering if any of you who are doing research on GARDINERs have found Gardiners who lived in England but owned land in Ireland. I suspect that there were Gardiners possibly from Gloucestershire, maybe from Wigan, who had interests in Ireland. And once they had interests in Ireland it would appear that their children and grandchildren went to Ireland and made a life on that land, especially in the 1600s and 1700s.
I know that this is just an educated guess. What I am asking is that do any of you know of any Gardiners who did this?
