Hi,
I'm looking for my ancestor Richard Banks and his first wife Sarah Cowly who were married at Bisley (presumably All Saints) on April 10th 1721. I visited Bisley, Stroud and Stonehouse today and couldn't find any trace of the name Banks, Cowly or Harmer. Banks married his second wife Elizabeth Harmer or Harmor on May 6th 1745 in Stroud. I'm wondering if anyone has heard of these names locally or can help out.
